The section restricts the assembly of more than four people. “Section 144 has been imposed in entire municipal areas of city and all important towns of the district,” District Magistrate said. Earlier clashes broke out between activists, who were protesting on the second day of 72-hour shutdown call given by ACC for not announcing a full- fledged AIIMS for Jammu region.
