We stand with Prof Kancha Ilaiah and his right to freedom of expression which means right to critique our Gods and religious texts. He has equal right to appreciate other faiths even when I may differ with him on many count, I feel he is one of the very few dissenters and need our support. The powers today are afraid of those who are writing with convictions and Kancha Illaiah is an articulate person who can express with his courage of conviction. We hope the authorities in Telangana will desist from doing any harm to Prof Illaih including intimidation. He deserve our support and solidarity.

कांचा इलैया को टारगेट किया जा रहा है । इन्हें ज्ञान से कोई मतलब नहीं । ये ज्ञान का लोकतंत्र खत्म करने वाले हैं । यह हाई टाईम है , उन धाराओं को खत्म करने का , जिनका इस्तेमाल पुलिस ' अभिव्यक्ति की आजादी' के खिलाफ करती है । सुना है इन धाराओं में कभी किसी को सजा नहीं हुई आजादी के बाद से - यानि ये धारायें सरकारों और पुलिस की हथियार हैं अपने खिलाफ विरोधी आवाजों को दबाने के लिए ।
